Health Justice and Direct Service Meeting

Political education is essential to our work to build a socialist future.  Come join us at Parish Hall from 7:00-8:30 to help plan our chapter's internal and external political education projects. This week we will be discussing the energy industry, in particular neoliberal efforts at privatization, progressive efforts at municipalization, and so called competition among energy providers (eg the situation in Texas with ERCOT). We will discuss <a href="https://www.dissentmagazine.org/article/energy-democracy-usa-socialize-renewable-public-private-cooperatives">this article from Dissent</a>, but we would also like to encourage attendees to bring something interesting to share or read to the group.
